How much does a small business website cost in Edinburgh?
A Braw website starts at £199 a month on a 12 month subscription, covering design, development, hosting, the domain, unlimited edits, 24/7 support, lifetime updates and best practice SEO. There is no setup fee. If you'd rather pay once, we also build websites for a one-off lump sum with hosting available at £30 a month billed annually.
How long does it take to build a small business website?
Seven days from the first conversation to going live. Day one is a twenty minute chat, days two and three are design reviewed in the browser, days four to six are the build tested on phones and checked against Google PageSpeed, and on day seven we point the domain and publish. Most UK web design agencies quote between four and twelve weeks for the same work.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Design and development, the domain, UK hosting, unlimited content edits, 24/7 personal support, lifetime updates and best practice SEO are all covered by the one payment. The only things charged separately are additional pages beyond five and ongoing blog support. There are no hourly rates.
Is Braw based in Edinburgh?
Yes. Braw is an independent web design studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Every part of our web design and development work is done here, with nothing outsourced. We work with businesses and organisations throughout Edinburgh and across Scotland, as well as clients elsewhere in the UK and internationally.
Do you only build websites for businesses in Edinburgh?
No. We're based in Edinburgh, but we build websites for clients anywhere in the UK and internationally. Because everything can be handled over the phone, by text and by email, where you're based makes no practical difference.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Iain, who designs and builds the site himself. There are no account managers, no offshore development team and no support ticket system. You can call or text at any time and reach the person who built your website.
What happens to my website if I stop the subscription?
Your domain is yours and always will be. If the subscription ends we will help you move the domain wherever you want it to go. The lump sum option exists for people who would rather own the build outright from the start.
